I build tools thatplug Shopify intoCin7 and Xero.

What I’ve built.

I connect Shopify to Cin7 and Xero, so orders reach Cin7 without anyone rekeying them. I also build the desk that drafts replies to store enquiries for your team to send, and I’ve been building and migrating Shopify stores, themes and apps for years.

  • Orders into Cin7

    Before

Orders come out of Shopify and someone types them into the inventory system, or a connector copies them across without the payment reference accounts need.

    After

My order push replaces Cin7’s own Shopify connector. Each order arrives in Cin7 as a sales order with its Shopify payment reference on it.

  • Customer emails

    Before

A customer asks where their order is, and someone looks it up in Cin7 and checks the courier before writing back.

    After

Messages from your store’s contact form arrive in one place with the order beside them. The system drafts each reply from the thread, the live order and your own help articles, and flags the ones a person should handle. Someone reads every reply before it goes.

  • Help articles

    Before

The answers to the questions customers ask most often sit in a document only your staff can see, so customers email to ask.

    After

Your help articles live in one knowledge base and publish to the store from there. When a customer fills in the contact form, the page suggests articles that might answer the question before they send it.

  • Moving to Shopify

    Before

The old store holds years of products and orders, and Google still sends visitors to its links.

    After

I bring the products, customers and order history across and set up redirects so old links land on the right pages of the new store. If the theme can’t do something you need, I customise it in Liquid, Shopify’s template language, or build a small app.

One order, start to finish.

I build these with the staff who pack the orders and the person who looks after the accounts.

  1. 01

A customer checks out on your Shopify store.

  2. 02

The order arrives in Cin7 as a sales order, with the Shopify payment reference on it.

  3. 03

Cin7 allocates the stock and your team picks and packs it as usual.

  4. 04

If the customer writes in to ask about it, the reply is drafted from the live order and your help articles, and someone on your team sends it.

Start with one job.

I start by sending you a short list of where I think I could save you time. Once we’ve picked one job off it and agreed the scope, I build a prototype in two weeks for a fixed $3,000 plus GST, connected to your Shopify store and tried on your own data. If it’s useful, I keep building on a monthly retainer. See pricing

Tell me what takes your team the most time.

Tell me what happens to an order after checkout and which systems it passes through, and I’ll send you a short list of where I think I could save you time.
