Production software forbusinesses that makewhat they sell.
What I build.
I build the system a maker runs production from. Your formulas live in it, and it works out the rest from them, from what to buy to what each product costs and what goes on the label.
- 01
Run production from your formulas
Every recipe is versioned, so you can always see which formula a batch was made from, and a shared base batch can be split into its variants at filling. When you record what you actually made, the system takes the ingredients and packaging out of stock and adds the finished product.
- 02
Work out what to buy
The system runs your open orders and planned batches back through their formulas to work out which ingredients and packaging you need, without counting the same need twice. It allows for stock on hand and deliveries on the way, then groups the list by supplier with lead times and minimum order values.
- 03
Cost each product and draft its label
Each product is costed from its formula with labour in the unit cost, and any ingredient that doesn’t have a price yet gets flagged. The label’s ingredient list is worked out from the same formula, AI only writes the wording, and someone on your team checks it before it’s printed.
Services.
The production system is one example of what I build. Most jobs draw on more than one of these four.
- 01
AI automation
I use AI for the reading and the first draft, so it can price a job, work out what to reorder, keep your knowledge base current or draft a customer reply from your own product and ingredient notes. Code checks anything that has to add up, and someone on your team sends every reply.

Custom tools
I build the things Shopify and Xero don’t do themselves, like the production and formulation system above. I build them with the people who’ll use them, in the office and on the floor.
- TypeScript and React
- Next.js
- Tailwind CSS
- GitHub
- Vercel

Inventory, accounting and integrations
An order placed in Shopify can reach Cin7 and Xero without anyone retyping it. I’ve built a Shopify to Cin7 order push that replaced the native connector, and two-way Cin7 syncs that write draft orders and purchase orders back.

eCommerce
I’ve spent years building and moving Shopify stores, themes and apps, and I build the parts a theme can’t handle. An AI sales assistant can use your catalogue and stock information to help customers choose products and place an order.

Process.
- Step 01
Talk through the business
Show me how the business runs and where the time goes. I’ll come back with a short list of where I think I could save you time, and you pick one thing for me to build first.
- Step 02
Try the prototype
Once the scope is agreed, I build the prototype in two weeks and your team tries it on real work.
- Step 03
Build from there
After that I keep building on a monthly retainer and help your team use it, and your team and I agree on what comes next.
Tell me what takes your team the most time.
Tell me what you make and where the hours go, and I’ll send you a short list of where I think I could save you time.
